Holidaying in Australia is an amazing experience whether you’re a local or from overseas, there is so much to see and do. Here is my Best Ten reasons and excuses to holiday ‘Downunder’.
Our Cities and Towns – Australia’s cities and towns are all impressive, unique and waiting for you to visit. Each city has its own attractions for you to enjoy. Some cities are near the coast so you can enjoy the beaches, other cities are in the country where you can soak up some country living and atmosphere.
Our Beaches – Australia has 50,000 kilometres and 10,000 beaches linked together to make a beautiful coastline. Walk on beautiful white sand, splash in the waves, go for a cruise, catch a few fish, explore the rock pools, swim and surf and most of all enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach.
Our Food and Wine – Our chefs and winemakers have a food and wine style all of their own. Australia has a great variety of food and wine to suit everyone. You can feast at a Barbeque or be waited on for a delicious 5 star luxury meal.

Also learn about more recent history in the past 200 years in our many museums and art galleries.
Our Top End – The Top End is the northern area of land across the top of Australia. The Top End has two seasons the ‘Wet’ and the ‘Dry’. The Wet season is from October through to March when it is very humid and it rains and rains and floods occur and many Roads become unpassable. The Dry season is from about April to September, this is the best time for tourists to visit.
Our Attractions and Events – Australia has a vast variety of unique attractions and events like scuba diving at the Great barrier Reef, ride a camel in Broome, go to a Ute muster, learn to surf at one of our beautiful beaches, climb or visit stunning Ayers Rock and many other unique Australian activities.
